WELCOME TO OUR HOME. We opened our first assisted living residence, Harrison Landing, in 2003 on the old Annie Harrison Homestead on Fraser Highway in the City of Langley - what was once called "Langley Prairie".
The Annie Harrison Family were original Langley Prairie pioneers who settled in Langley at the turn of the last century. The Harrison Family operated a roadhouse on the Harrison Landing property, providing food and shelter to prospectors and miners about to make the long trek north to the gold fields and beyond. We feel it only fitting that our retirement homes should bear the name of a great pioneer family and continue in the tradition of providing food, warmth and shelter to family and friends.
We have created a new model for assisted living residences that you will be hard pressed to find in other residences. Our suites are all apartment style, with fully functional kitchens complete with a stove/oven and fridge, living room fireplaces and useable sundecks. We have the most up to date 24 hour care caller/security system available, with location monitoring and voice call from all suites. Our residences offer beautiful common amenity space, with more functions to take in during a day than you will have time for.
Whether you like to watch the daily activities outside your apartment or prefer to look at the beautiful scenery of the coastal mountains, gaze at the Nicomekyl River meander through your backyard or watch the small planes take off and land at Langley's Municipal Airport, we have a "room with a view" for your taste!
After several years of having a waiting list of over 250 people for only 67 suites, we decided it was time to build another residence and began the design for Harrison Pointe, our second residence located just below Langley Memorial Hospital and only one mile east of Harrison Landing.
The key to our success is our management and staff. The Langley Senior Resources Society has been looking after the elderly for over 25 years. They bring a degree of love and care to our residences unsurpassed by any other operator/manager in this business. Our staff are amazing. On a daily basis, you will be greeted by friendly, courteous, helpful staff that know your name and are truly concerned with your happiness and well-being. We are extremely proud of our amazing staff.
Our best advertisement are our residents. So, if you are looking for an assisted living residence, come for a visit and talk to some of the residents that you will find enjoying the common amenities that our residences have to offer. Ask them if they enjoy their home and the support staff.
